Assurance Services Business Analyst

Join AstraZeneca’s Global Business Services (GBS) within Compliance & Legal Services as an Assurance Services Business Analyst. In this role, you’ll be the key connection between business stakeholders and technical teams—capturing needs, shaping solutions, and supporting delivery to drive value across the organization. You’ll work closely with Assurance Services leadership and partners in Privacy, Compliance, and related areas to ensure solutions align with strategic goals, regulatory requirements, and operational best practices.

What you’ll do :

• Requirements discovery and validation: Engage stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business needs for new projects, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives; facilitate reviews to reach agreement on functional and technical requirements.

• Create clear documentation: Use pre-defined templates to produce business requirements, “as-is” and “to-be” process maps, UAT test cases, and training materials; maintain comprehensive, audit-ready records.

• Assess and validate solutions: Participate in solution design reviews and lead/support user acceptance testing (UAT) to confirm requirements are met and intended value is delivered.

• Facilitate stakeholder communication: Bridge business stakeholders, project leads, and technical teams—ensuring needs are clearly understood and translated into practical, high-quality solutions.

• Support project coordination: Track progress, prepare and review project documentation, update closure materials, and flag risks and dependencies to keep milestones on schedule.

• Partner with the Project Manager: Provide regular updates on requirements status, coordinate deliverables, and support effective planning and execution.

What you’ll bring :

• Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering, or similar; minimum 3 years’ professional experience in Business Analysis (mandatory).

• Business analysis toolkit: Exposure to BA tools/techniques for designing and delivering business change; experience with complex, integrated systems.

• Communication and collaboration: Excellent English (spoken and written), strong presentation and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and technical teams.

• Ways of working: Self-starter, collaborative, outcome-focused, customer-committed, with high integrity.

• Technical skills: Proficiency with theMicrosoft suite.

Preferred qualifications :

• Experience working globally across multiple geographies and time zones.

• Pharmaceutical business awareness or domain knowledge.

• Experience collaborating with third-party suppliers/vendors.
